In March 2020 Chris Conz launched the "One Minute Boogie Challenge" and asked amateur and professional pianists to record a boogie piece with a length of exactly one minute and publish it on the social media channels with the hashtag #oneminuteboogiechallenge. Because a "one-minute boogie" is a special musical challenge. Packing all the tricks, the musical dramaturgy and the typical boogie sound in 60 seconds is not easy.
 
The response was enormous and Chris was able to present five pianists from all over the world every Wednesday in a video that was published on the YouTube channel "International Boogie Nights". Chris came up with something very special for the seventh edition: a one-minute boogie for you - to play. Inspired by Pete Johnson, he composed the piece "PETE’S SHORT BOOGIE".
